We've got a couple of similar books on our list. And I think you're the third or fourth in this meme that's mentioned the Red Queen and I've never even heard of it. I feel so left out.
I really liked the Percy Jackson books, especially the Heroes of Olympus series. (The Percy Jackson movies are absolutely awful, though!) The Shatter Me series was decent, and The Maze Runner books weren't bad either. I tried to read "The Red Queen" but it just wasn't for me so I stopped around page 100 -- but I'm definitely in the minority there. I was bummed because the cover totally drew me in!
I liked The Red Queen, but was bored by Percy Jackson, Maze Runner and Dorothy Must Die.
I have Dorothy Must Die, but put it down; not quite a DNF, but close. I also have Throne of Glass and The Darkest Minds. I am sure I will get to them at some point. :)
I've been seeing Red Queen everywhere lately, I think it's telling me something LOL I really want to read The Throne of Glass trilogy but I'm currently reading A Court of Thorns & Roses, depending on how much I like/love/loath this book will decide whether I'll read her other series :)

I love the Darkest Minds. and enjoyed the shatter me, but I haven't read the other two books in the series. the rest are either on my tbr list or on my shelf.
I have heard so much about Red Queen that I have decided that I need to read it! I have a lot of good things about it! Hope you get to check it out
what I have heard from you it seems I should get to reading these book I have never read before LOL. That is quite unfortunate, it looks so goooodddd

I hear a lot of people have put down Dorothy Must die :-/... Although I really want to get to those books too!!
