Welcome back to Alexis from I'M MAD FOR BOOKS, LUV and mine monthly book tag.
Every month we thought it would be fun to come up with a theme and to go
along with that chosen theme, a tag. However it wouldn't be just your
average tag, the questions would relate to books which in the end will
also relate back to our theme for that month. So I guess you could call
it a book tag.

link back to us as well.

This Months theme is:
End of the Year
Questions:
Questions:
1. What are your
top 5 favourite reads this year?
*Air Awakens by
Elise Kova
*Six of Crows by
Leigh Bardugo
*Fire Falling by
Elise Kova
*The Kiss of
Deception by Mary E. Pearson
*A Court of Thorns
and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
2. What books best remind you of
the holidays?
This maybe a little odd
to say since the title is a little morbid… however a book that had me thinking
of the holidays was “It’s a Wonderful Death” by Sarah J. Schmitt.
3. What are two favourite
quotes from books you read this year?
“I want a place
you hardly dare to even whisper. I want the bravery to not only read, but to
do. I want a man, not a library boy. A man who is tall and witty and knows more
about the world than you would ever dare dream.”
― Elise Kova,
Air Awakens
“Books are more
real when you read them outside.”
― Maggie
Stiefvater, Shiver
4. Which book would you want or got
for Christmas?
I REALLLYYY want the
Harry Potter box set, technically that’s more than one book, but I really do
want it.
5. Which two books that were
released this year have you not read?
The two books that I
still need to read are Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard & Go Set a Watchmen by
Harper Lee
6. What 5 fictional characters
would you want at your New Year Eve’s party?
*Baldair from the Air
Awakens series by Elise Kova
*Frosty & Ali from
the White Rabbit Chronicles series by Gena Showalter
*Morpheus from the
Splintered Series
*Lucien & Rhysand
from A Court of Thorns & Roses by Sarah J. Maas
7. Which book did you read this
year and didn’t particularly care for it?
The book that I read
this year that I didn’t particularly like was My Life Next Door by Huntley
Fitzpatrick
8. Who is a “Grinch-y” character you couldn’t
help but love?
Okay, I definitely feel
like Aldrik from Air Awakens by Elise Kova could be considered a “Grinch-y” character
because of the way he is, however it doesn’t make me love him any less. He will
forever be my lovely Aldrik.
9. What book has the Christmas
feeling to it (cover, or the novel itself)?
Frostfire by Amanda
Hocking has a wonderful snowy cover and to me, since I live in Canada, it’s
definitely not Christmas without snow. Even if Frostfires story has nothing to
do with Christmas
10. What was your reading goal this
year and were you successful?
2015 Reading Challenge
Library Luv has
read 88 books toward a goal of 100 books.

Morpheus would be pretty interesting to have at your party!
Sorry it has taken me so long to get over here, but the holiday rush, ugh, I am happy it is over. I would love the Ravenclaw boxed set of Harry Potter, so I agree. I got the Illustrated Sorcerer's Stone for Christmas and was overjoyed. Happy New Year! I will be doing the January tag, so let me know when it is up
